The Malaysian Government has relaxed its Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) as part of the country’s transition to the endemic phase, effective April 1, 2022.
Below are the updated Covid-19 Safety Management Measures on all of JSK’s premises.
The wearing of face masks is still mandatory on all of JSK’s premises. However, guests are allowed to take off their masks during sports, recreational activities, and dining.
Guests are still required to check in via the MySejahtera app before entering JSK’s premises. There is no need for checking in at open areas.
Events and activities may now be held at full capacity. However, all guests are still required to observe physical distancing of one metre.
Do note that there will be no more restrictions on business operating hours. This means that restaurants and convenience stores may now operate 24 hours.
All guests are reminded to practice good hygiene.

Please note that the rules at the activity pontoon have been adjusted to accommodate state regulations in response to Covid-19*
*JSK Borneo Reef tickets must be purchased in advance. Entry to the pontoon will be capped each day to ensure social distancing.
*All guests will have their temperatures checked before entry. Those with temperatures higher than 37.5°C will be prohibited from entering JSK Borneo Reef.
Wristbands are required to be worn at all entrance points including Inflatable Water Park, Underwater Observatory Tunnel, Kayak Zone, Diving Zone, Snorkelling Zone, Sea Walking Zone, and Children’s Play Pool.
All guests are required to sign a waiver/indemnity form before participating in JSK Borneo Reef’s attractions.
Intoxicated guests will be refused entry into JSK Borneo Reef.
Food & beverages
Outside food and beverages – except those for infants or special medical needs – are not allowed on JSK Borneo Reef.
Food & drinks are readily available for purchase inside JSK Borneo Reef.
Guests are prohibited from bringing the items listed below into the facility. The management reserves the right to inspect all bags for any such items:-
Alcohol and liquor
Sharp objects e.g. scissors, army knife, glassware
All guests are advised to not bring jewellery or valuables to JSK Borneo Reef; we will not be responsible for any lost, misplaced, or stolen belongings.
All guests are advised to keep the vicinity of the activity pontoon clean and litter-free. We strongly encourage guests to use the recycling bins provided on the premises.
All guests are advised to read the safety signs at every attraction at JSK Borneo Reef and conform to instructions given by reef attendants / authorized personnel.
In the event of a thunderstorm, guests will be required and guided to leave the activity pontoon safely. Entry fees are non-refundable
At JSK Borneo Reef, your safety is our utmost priority. Guests are required to abide by the safety terms & conditions stated below:
Appropriate swimwear must be worn on all attractions. The management reserves the right to deny entry to any guest in inappropriate swimwear.
Unacceptable swimwear: Cotton tops/bottoms, jeans, long pants, undergarments, street clothing, and sheer/see-through clothing or other material deemed inappropriate.
Acceptable swimwear: One piece/two-piece swimsuit, speedo, rash guard, wetsuit, board shorts, and burkini.
JSK Borneo Reef is a deep-water facility. Please enter all attractions feet first for your safety.
All guests are required to wear a life jacket at all times.
Expectant mothers, guests with a history of neck, back, joints, heart problems, or contagious diseases are not encouraged to participate in any of JSK Borneo Reef’s water sporting activities.
Guests under the age of 8 are not encouraged to participate in any of JSK Borneo Reef’s attractions except for Children Play Pool.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or custodian at all times.
The reef attendants are not lifeguards and are only present to monitor your safety. Please follow the safety instructions of the attendants at all times or risk posing injury to yourself or others.
The management reserves the right to evict guests who display improper/unruly behavior or any forms of “rough play” at the facility. Entry fees are strictly non-refundable.
The management of JSK Borneo Reef will not be liable for any injury, life, mishap, or loss/damage of any kind arising from the use of its facilities (including the negligence of staff) in the recreational water sports vicinity.
JSK Borneo Reef reserves the right to change operating hours, close certain recreational zones/attractions, restrict the number of visitors, cancel or amend any reef activity without prior notice.
If JSK Borneo Reef Sdn Bhd is notified within 7 days or less or no show; No refund will be given.
If JSK Borneo Reef Sdn Bhd is notified within 8 to 30 days; Guests will be allowed to reschedule or obtain a 50 % refund of the booking payment.
If JSK Borneo Reef Sdn Bhd is notified 30 days or more; Guests will be allowed to reschedule or obtain a full refund of the booking payment.
When processing a refund, a fee of 2% may be charged to the guest by the Payment Gateway and the exact amount may vary based on the payment service provider.
In the event of bad weather, where the relevant authorities have issued a red flag; Guests shall be allowed to reschedule. If Guests are unable to reschedule, Guests shall be entitled for a full refund.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, where JSK Borneo Reef Sdn Bhd decides to cancel; Guests shall be allowed to reschedule. If guests are unable to reschedule, guest shall be entitled for a full refund.
No refund will be entertained when guests are already at the Sea World.
The sequence of itineraries is subject to change depending on availability and weather conditions.
Any rescheduling or postponed to the visit date will be at the discretion of the JSK Borneo Reef Sdn Bhd and will be on a case-to-case basis.
Due to other reasons, guest may change their reservation or reschedule their trip date without any processing fees (subject to availability, applicable rates and conditions) as stated in the JSK Borneo Reef Sdn. Bhd. Policy. Any new reschedule date must be made within six (6) months from the date of the original confirmed ticket date.
Note: Please note that the tickets are non-transferable; hence, name changes on a rescheduled reservation are not permissible.
JSK Borneo Reef Sdn Bhd reserves the right, at our discretion, to change and or modify portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
